If you want to do something good, do it now. Never delay it.
There is never better good time for doing good things. Do not rely on stupid panchangams and nalla nerams. If you think I am wrong and if you believe strongly panchangams are good and proven - please email me or comment on this blog post.
I know people in Chennai (not all, but mostly) just believe about good times, bad times. Do not delay doing things. Things get delayed due to good times and bad times. Why not just do it today or any planned time?
Is other country people looking at all these good times and bad times? Aren't they living better and well, even though they don't see all those times? Let me know if you have any comment - and I would like to know what you all think!!!
Opportunities never come again, so never delay it for good times!! Do it now!!

No negative thoughts - only positive thoughts - Chennai wisdom
Keep only positive thoughts and get rid of negative thoughts then and there.
Do not live on negative thoughts anytime. As soon as you in take a negative thought or a saying from someone, immediately kick it out of your mind. If you allow negative thought to come and stay in your mind, then it automatically takes you down.
Why not just stop it when it comes to you first time and in a small scale. It is similar to the garbage at your place. When you get a garbage into your house, immediately think about getting rid of it and placing it in the trash. If you keep piling or even a small bit of it lying in your house then that will make you house stink and at the same time occupy your precious space.
If you are going towards your dream and going towards your achievement in life, then do not accept any negative thoughts.
Say - if you are saying you want to serve your society and you get constant negative thoughts, do not care for it. As you know Chennai is a conservative place and today if you say you want to quit your job and start your business of your own then you get all kinds of advice and placing hindrance to your thoughts about entrepreneurship. That is one main hurdle every youngster is facing today. Most of Chennai citizens live in joint family or atleast the decisions are made by more than one person in family - so it is a great hindrance for entrepreneurship and development in and of Chennai.

Are you a member of 99 club? - Chennai Wisdom
Are you member of CLUB 99?????
Once upon a time, there lived a King
One day, the King came upon a servant who was singing happily while he worked.. This fascinated the King; why was he, the Supreme Ruler of the Land, unhappy and gloomy, while a lowly servant had so much joy. The King asked the servant, 'Why are you so happy?'
The man replied, 'Your Majesty, I am nothing but a servant, but my family and I don't need too much - just a roof over our heads and warm food to fill our tummies.'
The king was not satisfied with that reply.. Later in the day, he sought the advice of his most trusted advisor.
After hearing the King's woes and the servant's' story, the advisor said, 'Your Majesty, I believe that the servant Has not been made part of The 99 Club.'
'The 99 Club? And what exactly is that?' the King inquired.
The advisor replied, 'Your Majesty, to truly know what The 99 Club is, place 99 Gold coins in a bag and leave it at this servant's doorstep.'
When the servant saw the bag, he took it into his house. When he opened the bag, he let out a great shout of joy... So many gold coins!
He began to count them. After several counts, he was at last convinced that there were 99 coins. He wondered, 'What could've happened to that last gold coin? Surely, no one would leave 99 coins!' He looked everywhere he could, but that final coin was elusive. Finally, exhausted he decided that he was going to have to work harder than ever to earn that gold coin and complete his collection.
From that day, the servant's life was changed. He was overworked, horribly grumpy, and castigated his family for not helping him make that 100th gold coin. He stopped singing while he worked.
Witnessing this drastic transformation, the King was puzzled. When he sought his advisor's help, the advisor said, 'Your Majesty, the servant has now officially joined The 99 Club.'
He continued, 'The 99 Club is a name given to those people who have enough To be happy but are never contented, because they're always yearning and Striving for that extra 1 saying to themselves: 'Let me get that one final thing and then I will be happy for life.'
We can be happy, even with very little in our lives, but the minute we're given something bigger and better, we want even more! We lose our sleep, our happiness, we hurt the people around us; all these as a price for our growing needs and desires.

How to be successful in life?
If you are confused in life and don't know where you are going in life? I suggest you play a game, which you can play and it is a new game.
Yesterday I went to a bowling game with my 5 friends. We played three games. I played terribly in the first game. I was the 5th and last in the first game. In the second game, I came fourth place. Still, I was totally depressed about what was going on.
I was de-motivated but at the same time I was understanding how to play and what is the best practice. I had the fire to play and win. I wanted desperately to win. I was carefully watching how people are playing and closely observing how the winning person is throwing the ball.
Hesitatingly I joined the third game, and I eventually won the third game. Here are the couple of lessons, I learnt.
1) Everything is happening under God's supervision and he teaches us lessons.
2) Concentration. I was only looking at the line and where to hit in the target. In Mahabaratha, Dhrona teacher asked everyone among the students and everyone identified bigger targets like whole tree or the parrot on the whole. Arjuna was the only person who answered that he sees parrot's eye only and nothing else.
It makes a lot of difference, if we concentrate only the destination and do not concentrate on anything else. Do not give ears to anything else. It is all about concentration.
3) Patience. until you understand the game and become mastered with the game.
4) Observation. Observe what is best and understand that and practice.
5) Understand from mistakes.
All of the above applies to our life and I feel like I realized these things after a long time. I will succeed back again! I know, it has been slow in my things shortly. But I will get back. I wanted to share with everyone, whom it might apply.
A Game is a short equivalent(prototype) of life. Every now and then you have win and loose. You need to be able to accept both. Accept both win and loose with the same heart. React to it in the same.
This will lead to bliss in life!!

What is the plan to put up, if an NRI wants to go back to Chennai, India?
You are an NRI or NRM? You always think about your home town, your home country. You are home sick. You are sick of your host country, where you have migrated? You think you will be better off, if you go back to Chennai(your home town or your home country). and do your own business.
If you are an NRI/NRM and wants to go back to Chennai, here is the plan I would suggest:
1) Have an AIM/GOAL written down in a single page. Let it be very short and sweet. Discuss your aim and/or goal with your spouse and children(if more than 10 years old).
2) Have a written personal and business plan, specifying your short-term, medium-term and long-term aims and plans on executing them.
3) Have a risk management plan. that is plan-B. What if, it did not work. Have Plan-C. What if, your plan-a and plan-b did not work!?
4) Build immovable assets, before you return back. For example, buy land or house in Chennai.
5) Have money generating assets in Chennai. For example, you should not be doing much work, but you should be getting some money for running the family. Say - a rent from a house you have rented to somebody else. Say - a rent from a commercial complex in Chennai.
6) Have a huge emergency fund. Deposit it somewhere, so that you either get a monthly income out of it and make sure it is liquid OR it can be a long-term growth deposit.
7) Have a retirement plan and fund it periodically. Have an insurance plan. If anything happens to you, what happens to your family. Be prepared for htat.
8) Have good amount of initial investment money for your business you are starting.
9) Be sure you are hardworking, consistent with your goals. Update your goals and plans as you proceed.
10) Be passionate with what you are doing and what you have planned to do. If you are passionate and if you love what you do, no one can stop you from your SUCCESS.

Chennai Wisdom: Hard work and Persistency pays off
Chennai Wisdom:
As we have talked about setting goals, we need to work hard and be persistent.
In order for us to achieve the goals, we need to keep doing the stuff needed.
If we are quitting, we are never going to achieve what we want to achieve.
Quitting is a worst thing any achiever would do.
Even if we fail, we will have to keep hitting the wall to have the wall broken. Only exception is - if you find that it is a wrong wall, you need to quit and find some alternate arrangements.
Anyway, you will see joy, if you get the taste of success - out of your persistent hard work.

Chennai Wisdom: Goal is clear - no one can stop
Chennai Wisdom:
Once the goal is clear, no one stop you in this world.
First of all, we need to set goals for life - short-term, mid-term, and long-term.
Write it down and it has to be by-hearted too. Anytime you should be able to say, where you are going.
All of the time, it has to ring bells for you to go towards that track to achieve what you want to achieve. Once it is loaded into your mind, then automagically you will be doing things towards that particular goal.
Once you realize that you are on your track and you see indications of success, NO ONE can stop you.
Purappadu thamizha - unnaikkaapppaattra...un kudumbathai kaappaattra...intha samoogathai kaaapppaattra!!

Chennai Wisdom: Getting up early
Chennai Wisdom:
No matter, what time you sleep, if you get up early from bed and start your day early, you feel you have lot of time and lot of things achieved in a day.
You get a feeling that you have a lot time ahead of you and you are ahead of all of them who are still sleeping.
In addition to getting up early, you need to plan for the day, in advance. So that even though you wake up early and start your day - you don't waste your time, by doing stupid things.
If you are not already doing it, try it for one week and see, you cannot get away from the habit.
You have a lot to achieve in this world and you have to make use of the time available in 24 hours for you!

God Krishna's wisdom for everyone: Chennai Wisdom
God Krishna's Bhagavad Gita wisdom for everyone: Chennai Wisdom
1. Why do you uselessly worry? Of whom are you needlessly afraid? Who can kill you? The Atma is neither born nor does it die.
2. Whatever happened in the past is for your good. Whatever is happening now is also good and whatever happens in the future is, that too, will be good. Do not have regrets about the past. Do not worry about the future. The presence is flowing effortlessly.
3. What have you lost that makes you weep? What did you bring into this life that you have lost? What did you nurture that has been destroyed. You brought nothing into this life and nothing you take while you are here can you take with you when you depart. Whatever you took or gave, you did so only here and only from Bhagavan. You came into the world empty-handed, and will leave empty-handed. What is yours today was another persons yesterday and the day after tomorrow is will belong to someone else. You think all this is yours because you are identified with this existence. Alas, is it this materialistic attachment that is the cause of your unhappiness.
4. Change is the law of the Universe. What you think of as death is actually real life. In a moment you become rich. The next moment you are poor. Yours and mine, small and large, ours and theirs: banish these petty thoughts from your mind! Here everything is yours and you belong to everyone else.
5. Neither is the body yours, nor do you belong to this body. This body is made of the five elements: earth, air, water, fire and space, and someday is will return from whence it came. But the atma is firm and immoral. What then are you?
6. Surrender yourself to the Lord. He will be your greatest help and comfort. The person who knows this is unafraid, does not worry and is free from sorrow.
7. Whatever you do, surrender it at the feet of the Lord. When you do this you will know the bliss of one who is free from the cycle of births and deaths.

Being Good in all aspects
Being Good in all aspects:
Lately, I am in confusion whether am I good for anything?
I have been doing many things, but negative thoughts are clinging my head and all over my body, which makes me hate myself.
As I am a Virgo, I try to be perfect in all aspects and that I am not able to reach very easily and that makes me depressing many times.
I try to be a good son to my parents, good brother and brother-in-law to my brother and sisters-in-law respectively.
I try to be a good husband to my wife and a good father to my daughter.
I try to be a good son-in-law to my father-in-law and mother-in-law.
And the list goes on in terms of being a good relative to all of my relatives.
At the same time, I have to be a good employee to my employer and being a good businessman to my business, good employer to my employees.
The list goes on... this is kind of overwhelming, when things are not going right.
I need to have courage to face all the troubles, I face!
I need to achieve what I came here for! Will all my dreams be dreams only for ever? Will I be able to achieve what I came here for! Will I just live a normal existance and just leave the world without achieving anything and bringing something new to the world!!!
I need answers from my inside man...
