AVN Swasthya an Ayurveda village launched at Chennai

Targeted at the International and up market domestic travelers, wellness seekers and Corporates, this facility is expected to provide a further impetus to the vast tourist potential of Chennai as a major centre of medical Tourism in Tamil Nadu.




AVN Swasthya a premier holistic center the first of its kind in Tamil Nadu was formally launched in Chennai today. Promoted by the AVN Group at Chennai, pioneers in Ayurveda since 1930, the facility is established on a 7 acre campus with an investment of over Rs. 14 crores. Targeted at the International and up market domestic travelers, wellness seekers and Corporates, this facility is expected to provide a further impetus to the vast tourist potential of Chennai as a major centre of medical Tourism in Tamil Nadu.


Addressing the Media, Dr.Ramesh R Varier, Managing Director and Senior Physician, Arogya Hospital said, “The facility at AVN Swasthya has been designed in such a manner so as to delight all its customers. The facility includes luxurious accommodation comprising of 11 Executive AC rooms, 6 Villas with twin beds, 4 villas with suit rooms and 1 two bedroom villa, all with the latest amenities set to European standards and with attached therapy rooms.


It also has an amphitheatre, yoga centre, health club, beauty spa, pure vegetarian multi-cuisine restaurant and garden restaurant, two board rooms and banquet hall, walking areas, Indoor and out-door games, trekking, bird watching and bullock cart rides to the nearby village to visit traditional pottery and doll making units. Apart from in-house activities, sight-seeing trips to destinations in and around Chennai are also organised along with the course, preceding it or thereafter.”
